Pacific Southwest Regional Conference
is an annual civil engineering conference under the conduct of the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Students come from four states and 18 universities in southwest regions (13 schools from California State, one school from Nevada State, one school from Hawaii State and 3 schools from Arizona State) to complete and communicate their civil engineering knowledge skill what they learn from their schools and put into practice in the conference. It is an excited moment for every civil engineering student to involve and participate in ASCE conference.
In annual Pacific Southwest Regional Conference, there will be 15 events, including the Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe, for a bid to Nationals as well as Conference Champion. In addition, conference annually will invite a lot of civil engineering experts to be the judges of Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe completion. Pacific Southwest Regional Conference 2010 was successfully held together by University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Northern Arizona University from April 8th to 10th at UNLV. This was an exciting and meaningful three days for all civil engineering students and NAU competed in all of the events offered which include:
